Looking for CE on I-864 and RFEs

I’m an immigration paralegal focused on family-based filings and I’m hunting for CE that goes deep on I-864 documentation and avoiding RFEs — has anyone found AILA’s paralegal track or CLINIC webinars particularly practical? I handle about 12 I-485/I-765 bundles a month and want courses with hands-on exercises for organizing evidence and drafting cover letters. General information is welcome; for specific cases, we’d consult a qualified attorney.

I found AILA’s paralegal track solid on I-864 theory but a bit lecture-heavy; CLINIC’s webinars were more practical, especially their checklists and sample indexes (see https://cliniclegal.org/training/webinars). One step that cut RFEs for us was building a two-column I-864 evidence index mapping each exhibit to the exact form question — like an IKEA manual for adjudicators — and a cover letter template you tweak for joint sponsors. Are your RFEs hitting income sufficiency or household-member proofs more, and do you have an attorney you can run edge cases by for specific guidance?

With 12 I-485/I-765 bundles a month, the single best change for me was adding a one-page I-864 ‘income math’ sheet and evidence index keyed to the USCIS Policy Manual, which we practiced in an ILRC training (https://www.ilrc.org/trainings) and now tuck behind the cover letter. For tricky joint-sponsor or mixed 1099/W-2 cases I loop in our supervising attorney — are your RFEs more often about household size or proof of current income?

At your “12/month” pace, use IRS Return Transcripts plus YTD employer letters — fewer I‑864 RFEs here; confirm with supervising attorney, @s_kumar12
