Been getting interviews by jumping on a “posted in real-time” listing within the first hour and front-loading trial prep bullets (e-discovery, Relativity) in my resume. For the remote roles, I attach a short redacted writing sample and a quick case cite table — callbacks doubled. Small caveat: family law shops often want bilingual or local court familiarity, so drop a line on jurisdictions.

During a med–surg sim last month, we added a 60-second ‘pause point’ mid-scenario — like a pit stop — to ask one mental-health prompt, and it cut freeze-ups in debrief by half. Caveat: not everyone wants to speak live, so we also offer an anonymous Padlet check-in first. It’s a small tweak that balances the gadgets with reflection without turning the sim into therapy.
