On “temporary contracts,” I add a small language premium and track interpreting/translation time as a separate task in Clio, which has made approvals smoother and ensured I’m paid for the bilingual work… If a firm resists, I offer a capped bundle of translation hours up front so costs don’t surprise anyone. For anything case-specific, loop in your supervising attorney.
